Fireworks Safety Guidelines
Your family's happiness and security are our highest priority. Please read and follow these safety practices recommended by fire safety authorities and pyrotechnic experts.
What to DO (Safety Rules)
- Adult supervision: Always ensure responsible adult presence when children light sparklers or flower pots.
- Open outdoor areas: Light fireworks only in spacious, open grounds away from dry grass, parked vehicles, and overhead wires.
- Water & sand handy: Keep a bucket of water and sand nearby for emergency extinguishing and disposing burned sparkler wires.
- Wear cotton clothes: Wear snug-fitting, thick cotton apparel and sturdy footwear. Avoid loose synthetic garments.
- Store safely: Keep unlit fireworks in a tightly closed metal or wooden box in a cool, dry place away from heat.
What to AVOID (Strictly Don't)
- Never relight duds: Never approach or attempt to reignite a firework that failed to go off. Wait 15 minutes and douse with water.
- Never hold in hand: Do not ignite any crackers or rockets in your hand or point them towards people or buildings.
- No indoor lighting: Never light any fireworks, including sparklers, inside houses, balconies, or enclosed rooms.
- No metal containers: Never cover crackers with tins, bottles, or metal boxes while lighting.
- Protect pets: Keep domestic pets indoors in quiet rooms during festival celebration hours.
